Mountings: Civilian mounted sword with Gunto
handle. All original to the sword and in good condition. The
saya is missing the kojiri and has some chips. Civilian brass tsuba.
Overall Condition: very Good. Some surface rust
near the habaki, no pitting, chips or nicks. This is an overall very
well forged blade with nice tight grain and bright hamon. Excellent
feel and balance. |

That is the decal from the shop that sold it...
Nice tight Jigane, bright hamon.
Some surface stains. No pits.
surface rust. That spot in the hamon is grease. I
just wiped it off...it is no longer there.
