Signature: YoShu Seiunshi HisaTsugu Forging Pattern: Tight mokume Tempering Pattern: Choji Midare in ko nie Dimensions: Blade Length: 26.75 inches Nakago: 8.7 inches 8 mm thick 33 mm wide Mountings: Blade is in shirasaya. Overall Condition: Excellent. Recent polish and shirasaya. Nice stout sword with very good forging. Hisatsugu was Army Certified swordsmith (Rikugun Jumei Tosho) making this a 100% true gendaito katana. Good gendaitos like this one has doubled in value in the last couple of years and i expect them to continue to appreciate.
