High Grade Gendaito by Tofuji
Signature: Mino Kuni Ju TofuJi Saku Forging Pattern: Tight Mokume, almost nashiji Tempering Pattern: Suguha with abundant ashi in ko nie and nioi Dimensions: Blade Length: 25.1 inches Nakago: 7.7 inches 7 mm thick and 30 mm wide at Hamachi Mountings: Blade and shirasaya Overall Condition: Very Good. An exceptionally well made sword with a very elegant shape. Excellent hamon with lots of ashi and nice tight consistent hada. There is some rust and a nick that should polish out. This sword was most likely made for an officer during the war but did not get mounted for use.
