Naganata in Shirasaya signed Ishido MasaToshi
Signature: Heianjo Ishido Ukon Masatoshi Year Made: Shinto, approx 16606 Forging Pattern: Itame Tempering Pattern: Midare In Nie and Nioi Dimensions: Blade Length: 15.8 inches Nakago: 7.25 inches 7 mm thick and 34 mm wide at Hamachi Mountings: Shirasaya and solid silver habaki. The blade appears to be in its original pre-war polish and is slightly hazed over. Details in the Ji and Hamon are somewhat difficult to see under normal light. Nice healthy naginata that has no visible flaws.
