Signature:  Attributed to Uda HiraKuni (circa 1500s) of the KuniKiyo School
Forging Pattern:  Mokume and masame
Tempering Pattern: Suguha
Dimensions:  Blade Length:  12.9 inches  Nakago: 4.5 inches 5 mm thick 29 mm wide
Mountings:  Recently professionally restored with Edo Period metal Higo fittings.
Overall Condition:  Excellent.  In fresh polish. A very nice stout fully restored tanto.
