WW2 Army Officer's Sword
Signature: YoshiMichi, Showa 19 March.
Year Made: 1942

Forging Pattern: Ko-Itame
Tempering Pattern: Suguha
Dimensions:   Nagasa25 15/16", Nakago:  9", Mihaba: 1 1/4 ", Sakihaba:  7/8", Kasane: 9/32 ", Sori:  3/4"  
Mountings: Standard WW II gunto with a solid silver habaki.
Overall Condition: The blade is solid, no fatal flaws.  There are a number of scratches and scrape marks.  It looks like it has been used for tameshigiri.  The saya paint has been chipped and scratched and there is a several dents.  The tsuka is solid.
