Forging Pattern: Itame/Mokume.
Tempering Pattern: Suguha
Dimensions:   Nagasa19 3/16", Nakago: 4 5/8", Mihaba: 1 5/32", Sakihaba: 29/32", Kasane: 1/4", Sori: 7/16"  
Mountings:  Saya is missing the kirikata, has dings and scratches and a large piece of the urushi missing at the koiguchi.  The tsuka 6 3/4" long with iron wood patterned fuchikashira with mon.  The ito has some ware spots.  The menuki are shakudo with gold accents.  The tsuba is iron, 2 15/16" in length and the habaki is silver foiled.
Overall Condition: The blade no significant defects.  There are spots of old spider rust that have been cleaned and one very minor chip in the edge.  These will all disappear with a good polish.
