Katana by Nobuyoshi with NTHK paper
Signature: Kiku Mon, Echizan no Kami (Nobuyoshi)
Year Made:  1600s

Forging Pattern: Itame
Tempering Pattern: Gunome-Midare
Dimensions:   Blade Length:  26.4", Nakago: 8.3", Mihaba: 1 3/16", Sakihaba: 7/8", Kasane: 1/4", Sori: 1/2"
Mountings:  The black saya has a few minor dents but is in good condition.  The tsuka is in good condition with nice copper lobster menuki that are 2 3/4" and the ito is tight.  The fuchi and kashira are iron and in good condition. There is no tsuba.
Overall Condition: The blade is in very good condition, no flaws, only a few minor scratches.  There would be no need to have the blade polished but, if it were, it would be spectacular.
