Tempering Pattern: It's difficult
to tell but appears to be suguba.

Mountings: The shirasaya is in
poor condition with a wooden habaki as part of the handlle.
Overall Condition: There are
no flaws in this blade other than the chips in the edge as can be seen in
the pictures. There are grinder marks the length of the blade on both
sides. They are not deep and with come out in a polish. |
