27.5 inch Koto Katana in Fresh Polish
Signature: Bizen Kuni (no) Ju Jin Nagamitsu.
Year Made:  Murmachi Koto
Forging Pattern: Prominent mokume.
Tempering Pattern: Toran based midare in nie.
Dimensions:  Blade Length:  27.5 inches  Nakago: 7.5 inches 6 mm thick and 31 mm wide at Hamachi
Mountings:  Old shirasaya in excellent condition, silver foil habaki with interesting patterns in good condition.
Overall Condition:  Very good, Has a recent finish polish and has one light scratch (which is pictured but is much harder to see than in the photo. Nakago is ubu and signed Nagamitsu, we assume it is gimei but has never been to shinsa. Beautiful sword, graceful shape, weight and balance. Much activity in nie with a beautiful mokume hada that you don't see on newer swords. This sword requires nothing but time to admire and study it. Price is what the blade cost before the polish.
